Do the sensors in my array instrument need to be changed ?Yes. However the frequency of this change will depend on the sensor concerned. Normally we recommend that sensors should be changed annually, their baseline frequencies should however be checked each time the instrument is turned on after 10 months of use and any significant changes may indicate aging or damage to the sensor. This check will be built into later versions of control software. Back to Top
Does Quartz Technology carry out maintenance checks on its instruments ?Yes it does. We would recommend that instruments should be routinely checked after any significant period of disuse, or if results suggest that some damage to the instruments may have occurred. How can I receive updated software ?Quartz Technology is continuously developing and improving their instruments, perhaps the most obvious sign of this is the release of new versions of the relevant control software. This updated software is normally offered when Quartz Technology carries out maintenance checks on instruments and the release of new versions of software will be announced on this web-site.
